La igualdad también se aprende

Una de las principales carencias de la educación actual es la deficiente Coeducación para la Igualdad, sin cuya práctica niñas y niños repiten y seguirán repitiendo estereotipos, funciones y papeles de género masculino y femenino, con lo que ello conlleva de reproducción de la desigualdad, la discriminación y la violencia de género. Quizás por eso, nos preguntamos a menudo: ¿Son ellas y ellos más sexistas que la generación que los educa? Si ninguna instancia socializadora ?familias, sistema educativo y sociedad mediática- se ocupa de establecer unas enseñanzas y aprendizajes coherentes con la Igualdad, la gente joven no podrá aprenderla. La responsabilidad de Coeducar es colectiva e individual a un tiempo. Con la pedagogía coeducadora que aquí se propone se trata de aprender a neutralizar y abandonar vicios como el del androcentrismo, el machismo y el sexismo para entrar por la puerta grande en la era de la Igualdad, beneficio y ventaja social ya indiscutible a nivel internacional, como parte del desarrollo humano sostenible.

EQUALITY ALSO CAN BE LEARNT. The question of Coeducation - One of the main limitations of the present educational system is the deficiency of coeducation for Equality, without which practice girls and boys repeat and they will continue repeating stereotypes, functions and roles of men and women, which brings with it a regeneration of inequality, discrimination and gender violence. Perhaps for that reason, we often wonder: Are they more sexist than the generation that educates them? If socializing influences - families, educational system and social media do not establish teachings and coherent learning about Equality, young people won't be able to learn it. The responsibility to co-educate is both collective and individual at the same time. The co-educational pedagogy proposed here attempts to learn how to neutralize and overcome vices such as androcentrism and sexism so as to already enter by the main door into the era of Equality, an unquestionable benefit and social advantage at the international level, as part of sustainable human development.
